October highlights at your library
(Brooksville, FL) – The Hernando County Public Library System announces the following special events for October 2018. All events are free and the public is encouraged to participate.
 
  1. Teen Read Week (TRW) – Sunday, October 7 – Saturday, October 13
    Youth Librarian, Mr. King, will encourage teens to read something just for the fun of it! Families, schools and community groups are invited to book a special library presentation for your group of teens during TRW by calling (352) 540-6591 by Monday, September 24.
  2. Live Jazz at the Library! – Friday, October 12, 3 p.m. at the Spring Hill Branch located at 9220 Spring Hill Drive
Stop in for another wonderful live concert performed by members of the Hernando Jazz Society, sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hernando County, Inc.
