July 3, 2018, the Lake House will be booming with family fun, music and fireworks. Join us from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with FREE parking and FREE admission. Cold beer, wine, food trucks, craft vendors, performances by The Black Honkeys and Never Stop Believin' (Journey tribute band).

Fourth of July Bandshell Bash - Celebrate America!

The Hernando County Fine Arts Council will sponsor an afternoon of old fashioned fun and games complete with a musical petting zoo, storytelling, food and other vendors. Pre-concert entertainment by Live Oak Theatre Company will be at 4 p.m., Al Chance performs at 4:45 p.m., Vicki Roush at 5:15 p.m., Memories Quartet at 5:45 p.m. and after our Salute to Veterans, the Hernando County Symphony Orchestra will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Smoking Good Barbeque will be there from 4 to 7 p.m. serving hamburgers and hot dogs and then BBQ later in the day. This is a FREE event, bring the entire family! There will be a special acknowledgement of our veterans and a spectacular fireworks display to see after a day filled with fun and music.

The Hernando County Fairgrounds is hosting the Firecracker Smash'm Up! event Wednesday, July 4, 2018 starting at 4 p.m. There will be a demolition derby, live music, crafts, games, bounce houses and pony rides. Parking is $5 and the derby is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages four to 12, children under three are FREE.
