The Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation & Jefferson County invite artists to apply to create a public wildlife mural in the heart of historic Monticello! An artist honorarium of $15,000 will be offered to the selected artist. Applications are due by April 9th.

We represent the Hernando County chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and perform all over the greater Tampa Bay area. Hire our chorus or one of our quartets today for your party, office function, or social event, and let the beauty of barbershop harmony entertain, uplift and inspire you!
And if you love to sing and will be in the Hernando County Florida area, come join us. We meet every Monday nights at 6:30 at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, Florida. We are actively seeking new members of all ages. Guests are always welcome and celebrated!

Meet Steve! Steve is a member of the Shadow Chasers Plein Air group and the Nature Coast Art League. He has been painting his whole life but when he moved to Hernando Beach 11 years ago, he started painting the local scenery daily.
Steve works with everything from oil, acrylic, and watercolor, to metal, wood, and anything else that inspires him! Steve has painted many murals throughout Hernando County. You can see some of his murals on our Mural Map!
Find Steve at the Hernando Beach Art Walk on the first Saturday of every month. His artwork is also available at the art gallery in the Silver Dolphin Restaurant in Hernando Beach and at Barry's Auto Repair in Weeki Wachee.

Mermaid Tale Trail Unveiling
Over the weekend, Florida's Adventure Coast unveiled ten new mermaid statues for The Mermaid Tale Trail! The Arts Council is a proud partner of this public art project.
You can get a digital map or visit the Arts Council's booth at the Hernando Beach Front Porch Art Walk on the first Saturday of each month for a physical map!
