THE HERNANDO HISTORICAL MUSEUM ASSOC IS LOOKING FOR TOUR GUIDES!
Do you love history? Your help is needed just three hours a week. Retiree’s welcome!! We will train.
We have three museums, The May-Stringer House – a 14 room Victorian home is perched on top of a hill overlooking the city of Brooksville has over 11,000 artifacts on display; The 1885 Train Depot was to be part of a railway system connecting travelers and freight from the ports of the East Coast of Florida to the Gulf of Mexico and The One Room Schoolhouse Museum – a representation of the first school built in the 1850’s by Fredrick Lykes, will bring you back in time to experience a fun and interactive lesson while sitting at authentic wooden desks.
