Hernando County Library closures
(Brooksville, FL) –  The following two locations of the Hernando County Public Library System will be closing early, at 4 p.m., on Monday, December 31, 2018 in conjunction with the New Year’s Eve holiday: 
  • Main Library - 238 Howell Avenue in Brooksville
  • West Hernando Branch - 6335 Blackbird Avenue in Brooksville
The East Hernando Branch Library and Spring Hill Branch Library are both closed on Monday, December 31, 2018 according to their regular operating schedule. All branches will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of New Year’s Day and will resume normal hours of operation on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
 
Additionally, all Hernando County Public Library System locations will be closed on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 to allow for annual staff development training.
