Hernando County Utilities Department Responds to Force Main Break
 

(Brooksville, FL) – The Hernando County Utilities Department would like to inform the public of a force main break caused by a private contractor at the intersection of Linden Drive and Mariner Boulevard, in the area just south of Spring Hill Drive. Crews from the Utilities Department, along with the Department of Public Works, are actively working on-site to address the situation.
 

As a result of the break, motorists can expect delays and lane closures in the affected area. We advise the public to avoid this location, if possible, and seek alternate routes. Due to the nature of the repair work, the closure may last for several days. However, crews are working diligently to complete repairs and clear lanes as quickly as possible to minimize disruption.
