Event Description:
The Weeki Wachee Winds Community Concert Band will present their first ever concert on Thursday evening, October 28 at 7:30pm in the Nativity Lutheran Church (NLC) Sanctuary.
The church is located at 6363 Commercial Way (Hwy 19 north of Cortez) in Weeki Wachee. The band is made up of local musicians from high school through post retirement age and rehearses at NLC every Thursday evening in Winemiller Hall. They are directed by NLC member Mark Hengesh. The varied program will include marches, a John Williams medley, several Halloween inspired pieces, selections with Irish and Spanish influence, a veterans tribute and America the Beautiful, among others.
The concert is free, but seating is limited so every attendee needs a ticket.
Tickets are available at the church office Mon-Fri from 9am-12pm and Sundays before and after the 9:30am worship service.

Tickets must be claimed by 7:10 on the night of the concert or they will be distributed to others.
Donations will be gladly and gratefully accepted. Attendees are requested to wear a mask.
