These events change lives... I know you can’t predict the future, but let’s pretend you can for a second… It is Friday night April 29th. You are about to make one of the biggest decisions of your life. Do you A. Stay at home and watch Netflix B. Go have drinks, eat appetizers, connect with friends and meet two world class innovators; one who has cracked the code on healthy aging and another who is a leader at $100 billion company. We will be patient… just process which one will add more value to your life… Ok… Whew! We are glad you chose B. and we promise Netflix will be there when you want later; the Story Summit will not! Ok, now putting the jokes aside, April 29th and 30th should be one of the most important and memorable weekends of your life. You will have a chance to spend time with Giselle Mota of ADP and Michael Reyes of Halo Life Science. They are coming to the one and only Brooksville, Florida, to tell stories, hear about your big ideas, and have fun! If you have never participated in an IC Story Summit, let me tell you about it. It is a Friday evening and Saturday afternoon into night event that we have perfected over the last nine years. This experience is packed with intentional moments and a transformative process for you and the community. Our only request is that you come ready to have fun, meet new people, and brace yourself for one of the best weekends of your life. In the span of two days, it can help you make progress that could have taken you years. Friday at 7:00 pm, we gather for a reception to welcome our guest mentors to town. We will have drinks, appetizers, fun get to know each other activities, and most importantly, time to connect in meaningful ways. We will also be having PHSC students who have gone through the IC Studio process pitch their startups to a few local angel investors and us. Saturday at 1:00 pm, we gather to hear stories that teach life and business lessons from Giselle and Michael. We have an open dialogue during this storytelling time where we all learn and grow together. After the stories, we will have a special surprise followed by our closing ceremony over a meal. The ceremony is powerful and often results in life change, so buckle up and get ready! Saturday morning, we will have an optional round of frisbee golf or a run/walk for those who would like to join. The cost of the two-day experience is $150 per person, but for Innovation Collective Leadership Community (ICLC) members, it comes with a ticket for the member and another for a guest they choose. The ICLC membership also includes the leadership pathways; explore, studio, and great 8. These programs are designed to help you become a stronger creator and entrepreneur. The ICLC memberships come in two categories, scholarship (partial and full) or full price. There is no difference between what they offer and in Brooksville, FL the first three months are at no cost to you, thanks to the local partners, Let’s Grow Hernando and Hernando County. After the first three months, you will choose what kind of membership to maintain, scholarshipped or paid.
