The Hernando County Sheriff's Office Presents:
SAFETY & FUN FEST
   Formerly 'Night Out with the First Responders'
 
The annual Safety & Fun Fest hosted by the Hernando County Sheriff's Office is this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Brooksville.
The event is designed for the community to get to know their first responders.
The event will feature a number of demonstrations by the Sheriff's Office to include K-9, the Civilian Mounted Unit, as well as presentations on Anti-Bullying, Fraud Awareness, and Vice and Narcotics as it pertains to teenagers.
Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services and the Brooksville Fire Department will also be conducting demonstrations for the public.
More than 100 businesses have signed up to have a booth at the event. A number of political candidates will also be on-hand. Food trucks will be offering a variety of tasty treats for those who get hungry during the event.
