Event Description:
Responders First Rejuvenation Program primary goal is to help First Responders change their post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth.
Responders First in partnership with Veterans Alternative is conducting a pilot program on the week of September 22-27, 2019 for six First Responder/Combat Veterans.  This free Accelerated Wellness Program will provide behavioral health care services to First Responders/Combat Veterans who are facing life challenges that stem from emotional difficulties associated with their stressful service related experiences.  Included in the program experience are daily sessions of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Integrative Restoration (iRest), and Gentle Yoga.  Additionally, participants will participate in other alternative therapies such as music group, active meditation, vision boarding, nutrition dialogue, and physical training. Group outings are also part of the program.  The Veterans Alternative Accelerated Wellness Program resulted in dramatically reducing PTSD 46%; Depression 62%; Anxiety 56%; Perceived Stress 44%; Pain Outcomes 22%; and Sleep Dysfunction 31%. 

Requirements to qualify for the Accelerated Warrior Wellness Program Include:
  • Must be an active or retired First Responder
  • Must be a United States Combat Veteran or Active Duty Military member
  • Must provide DD214 or ERB if active
  • Must have at least 30-days sobriety if in recovery for substance/alcohol dependency.
