PHSC CELEBRATES WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH IN BROOKSVILLE
 
Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) will celebrate women’s history month with a presentation titled “The Math and Speech of NASA’s Hidden Figures: A Celebration of Women’s History Month.”
            This year’s event, the fourth in an annual series at the North Campus, will spotlight two PHSC faculty, Davina Jones, Ph.D., professor, English, and Glynis Williams, instructor, information technology. Inspired by the recent movie, Hidden Figures, Jones and Williams will examine the roles women have served in human history, while also applying theoretical principles of mathematics, information technology, and public discourse in everyday life.     
            The PHSC North Campus Chapter of the Student Government Association and the college’s Office of Global and Multicultural Awareness are the event sponsors.
