Event Description:

All animals must be up to date on vaccines, must be on a leash at all times and must be non-aggressive; owner is 100 percent responsible for pets; owners must sign a waiver to participate in any of the activities; and owners must pick up after pet or they will be asked to leave.
• Noon: Marker 48 doors open, beer tents open, registration and check in tables open, food trucks open.
• 1:30-2 p.m.: Pet Costume Contest (prizes awarded). Registration and check-in required; $5 per pet to benefit The Humane Society of the Nature Coast.
• 2-3 p.m.: Small dog ANY BREED races (0-14 pounds) with trophies awarded for first, second and third place for final heat winners.
• 3-4 p.m.: Medium dog ANY BREED races (15-45 pounds) with trophies awarded for first, second and third place for final heat winners.
• 4-5 p.m.; Large dog ANY breed races (45 pounds and up) with trophies awarded for first, second and third place for final heat winners. Registration AND check in required,
• 5 until ?: Wiener-dog ONLY races (dachshunds) with trophies awarded for first, second and third place for final heat winners.
• 7-11 p.m.: Live music in the beer garden by Save the Radio
