Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization
You are invited to participate in the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in person or virtual workshops on August 22, 2024 (rescheduled from August 5th due to tropical storm Debby). We will be discussing priority transportation projects and seeking input from stakeholders, community members, and experts. These workshops are part of developing the 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), and vital for guiding our region's growth and funding decisions for the next 20-25 years. Your insight on road widening, public transportation including transit, and bicycle/pedestrian improvements are vital as we address safety, traffic congestion, and travel time issues.
