Hernando Chapter, Florida Native Plant society meets November 4, 2019 at UF/IFAS Extension Service office, 16110 Aviation Loop Dr, Brooksville, FL 34604 (centrally located near the airport off of Spring Hill Drive). Arrive 6:30 pm for refreshments & socializing. FREE program 7:00-8:00 pm: “Going Native at Nature Coast Botanical Garden” by Cindy Liberton & Alice Smith. Learn about the facelift underway in the Florida Native Plant Demonstration Garden. How winning the Viva Florida grant will result in wildflower plantings, interpretative signs, information kiosk, monthly education programs, & how you can help make the project successful for our community.
