Dash for Dawn event

Dawn Center is celebrating 31 years of service this year (1993-2024). Dawn Center of Hernando County is a state-certified provider of victim services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Our mission is to end the cycle of domestic and sexual violence through the provision of supportive services and leadership that promotes social change. Our vision is a community free from violence and abuse. Dawn Center provides a range of free services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Hernando County to help them find safety and heal from the trauma of abuse. Dawn Center recognizes that it is not enough to just intervene after abuse has taken place and therefore operates a violence prevention program targeted at youth in our community.
