The 270 acres of protected wildlife habitat at Ahhochee Hill Sanctuary is surrounded by other publicly protected land. Recently a Longleaf Pine Habitat Restoration project began on 140 acres. Expect to see woodpeckers and songbirds as spring bird migration begins.
