Event Description:
The Hernando Historical Museum Assoc., Inc. and North Pinellas County Scout Sertoma Club, Inc. present the 40th Annual Brooksville Raid Reenactment, Jan 18 & 19, 2020. This reenactment is a re-creation of typical Civil War battles. We have become the largest Civil War reenactment in Florida with over 1500 reenactors and their families. We have 20 cannons, 20 horses, and over 30 sutlers. The public is invited to tour the authentic confederate and union camps and actually see how they lived and what it was like during the Civil War. Vendors are available to purchase any Civil War items you might want. We also have kettle corn, old time root beer and you can’t leave without having a FRY BREAD. All animals must be on a leash.
Location:
The location is on Hwy. 50 west at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation (across from Oak Hill Hospital). There is motorcycle parking available.

The cost is $10.00 for Adults, $5.00 youth 6-12 years, FREE 5 & under & $3.00 scouts in Uniform.
