Join us on Wednesday, August 5th for an intro to Narcan Training and "Hidden in Plain Sight" presentation from Jenna Davis with Hernando County Community Coalition.
The Hernando County Community Coalition offers Narcan training as a way to build a safer, more informed community. Hidden in Plain Sight provides an opportunity to explore a mock teen's bedroom to explain various trends of teen substance use, signs, symptoms, and lingo in an effort to raise awareness about substance use and help parents and other adults see the environment with new eyes, know the warning signs that may be obvious once they are pointed out, and then help them have a conversation with the teen to stop dangerous behaviors.
