Event Description:
Stage West Playhouse and directors Michelle Root and Lynda Dilts-Benson are excited to announce auditions for Candy Cane Chaos.
Auditions will take place on October 5th and 6th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Playhouse. October 7th will be call backs (if needed). Show dates are December 6, 7 and 8. All roles (except Mrs. Claus) are for children under 18. Those auditioning for speaking roles must be able to read.
The North Pole is working hard in the days leading up to Christmas. Mr. Claus has left for some mental health days and Mrs. Claus is running the show. A novice elf's mistake on the candy cane production line throws the North Pole into chaos and threatens Christmas. It is up to Mrs. Claus to get the elves through getting everything back on track in time for Christmas.
Roles available are:
Mrs. Claus (adult)
The Elves (18 and under)
Sparkles
Twinkle and Winkle
Holly
Mistleytoes
Noel
Norman
Carolers (no spoken lines, will sing during ensemble numbers out among the audience)
Auditions will be cold readings from the script, as well as singing some Christmas carols.
