Name: 4th Annual Eat Your Words! Edible Book Contest
Date: March 18, 2017
Time: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM EDT
Event Description:
What could be more fun than books & food? The Hernando County Public Library System invites you to enter our 4th Annual Eat Your Words: Edible Book Contest where you don’t need to be a food artist to enter or win! Use your imagination to create an edible book, an edible work of art based on a book, author, or anything else book-related. Simply make and bring an edible creation based on your favorite book! Edible books can look like a book in form and shape, be inspired by a book or author, be a pun of a book title, refer to a book character, reproduce a book cover, or just have something to do with books in general. Entries may be made from anything that is edible as long as it can sit out without melting or turning bad. This is a fun event for all ages! All entries should be family friendly.  Don’t feel like creating? Come and sample the edible book creations!   For inspiration, check out our Edible Books Board on Pinterest:
