2019 Hurricane and Safety Expo

Join Hernando County Emergency Management (EM) at its annual Hurricane & Safety Expo on Saturday, May 4, 2019. The Expo will feature a panel of local TV meteorologists, public safety displays, SKYWARN® training, vendor tables, freebies and a chance to win a FREE generator! Tickets will be given to those attending the meteorologist panel discussion at noon (must be present to win). This event is fun for the whole family! It will even feature a Hurri-Kids Zone filled with exciting activities for the kids such as face painting, snow cones, a bounce house and more! The meteorologists panel will feature the following local TV meteorologists: • Steve Jerve – WFLA 8 • Paul Dellegatto – Fox 13 • Mike Clay – Bay News 9 • Bobby Deskins – WTSP 10 • Dan Noah – NWS The Expo is EM’s opportunity to bring the community together to become better prepared to face the upcoming hurricane season beginning June 1!
